WAVEGUARD – Passively Q-Switched Nd:YAG Microchip Lasers
WAVEGUARD lasers use a few-millimeter Nd:YAG microcavity with a passive Q-switch to deliver sub-nanosecond pulses and tens-of-kilowatts peak power in an ultra-compact DPSS design. The robust, OEM-ready architecture ensures excellent pointing stability and low jitter, making integration straightforward across laboratory and field systems.
Built for modern instrumentation, WAVEGUARD supports optional harmonic modules at 532 nm, 355 nm, and 266 nm, enabling green, UV, and deep-UV operation from the same platform. Wavelength stabilization (down to ~3 pm) and versions with an integrated photodiode for pulse repetition rate monitoring/control are available on request. The state-of-the-art, rugged design streamlines drop-in use for LIBS, precision micromachining, metrology, spectroscopy, and alignment applications where short pulses, high peak power, and compact footprint are critical.
