Optogama starts new project for research and development of compact „eye-safe“ 1,54 µm wavelength nanosecond lasers „Kaukas“ series. The aim of the project is to increase company‘s innovative potential, competitiveness and sales investing into research and development of „eye-safe“ 1,54 µm nanosecond lasers.

At the end of this project different laser sources are planned to be developed:
  • „Kaukas ME“: 1,54 µm wavelength mid pulse energy (1-2 mJ) low repetition rate (1-5 Hz) ultra compact pulsed diode pumped laser;
  • „Kaukas HE“: 1,54 µm wavelength high pulse energy (8-12 mJ) low repetition rate (1-5 Hz) ultra compact pulsed diode pumped laser;
  • „Kaukas HR“: 1,54 µm wavelength low pulse energy (>20-50 µJ) high repetition rate (>= 1 kHz) compact pulsed diode pumped laser;
  • „Kaukas4“: 1,54 µm wavelength high pulse energy (3 mJ) low repetition rate (1-5 Hz) ultra compact pulsed diode pumped laser;
